Bear Claw

Bearclaw are burly and heavy. Their first record defines what can be accomplished with drums and bass. Lesser bands would have locked into such a winning formula but Bearclaw keeps looking for more. The second record stretches and moans. It is patience and low tone in a slow burn. When they were closest to being defined, they pulled away.
The personnel that make up the band are the new standard in band ethics. They are the benchmark of my peer group of musicians and the foundation of the new DIY era. They are the “Batman” of tour contacts. I am happy to say that I knew them from “back when” and am proud to call them friends. — buzzsaw
