IfIHadAHiFi Live at PRF Auktoberfyst 2011

IfIHadAHiFi perform live on day 3 of the PRF Auktoberfyst 2011 in the Grand Ballroom of the Klas Restaurant in sunny Cicero, IL on Saturday, October 1st, 2011. In a strange turn of events, the band set up on stage backwards facing the giant bay windows and the crowd outside the ballroom. This of course only could last only for a moment as the proprietors of this fine venue had a few complaints about the sound level from the restaurant next door. Sometimes living in an aquarium is a hard life!

Spelling Bee Live at PRF Auktoberfyst 2011

Spelling Bee is a Saint Louis based post-punk/psychedelic/noise rock musical group. They drove their little car up to Chicago and delivered a huge sound. As if a tornado erupted from a ceiling fan, Spelling Bee blasted out a devastating assault of guitar and drums, and had a few running for the basement. But don’t take my word for it, check out the video below, including an encore which the band was forced to play after the crowd would not let the two off the stage. It is surely something to see!
