Risk/Reward

Risk/Reward’s self-titled debut album is a slab of casually aware rock music. Walsh and Houlihan’s songs bounce off one another with a friendly respect, with Darragh’s bigger-than-Bonham kit sitting square in the middle. The tunes are chiseled and finessed without ever being overwrought, and the effortless attitude they manage adds a punk rock bite to the searing melody exploding from your speakers. Three friends up on stage or in the studio having the time of their lives, genuinely excited that they have the opportunity to write and perform these perfect songs. Not bad for a bunch of shit-talking micks. — Steve V

The PRF Radio Hour – August 13th, 2011

Bradley R. Weissenberger of the rock band .22 hosted an all PRF radio show this passed Saturday, August 13th, 2011 on 106.7 WRHC Radio Harbor Country in Grand Haven, MI from 9 to 11 PM. In addition, the show was streamed live on their website through out the digital land.

Risk/Reward perform live at Secret Project Robot for the first ever PRF BBQ in New York, PRFBBQNYC2011. The crowd cheered for more, but they did not know they were lucky to hear what the heard. These mysterious gentlemen only perform when the moment strikes them, and when the beer is cold.
