Transmontane
Transmontane is one man’s journey. It is music that is the DNA of lonely pain and hundreds of miles of roads. It is the quiet trip home from a long exhausting ride when no one says a word and when busy minds tell the story. Ryan Duncan tells of bottomless longing, as if he never feels accepted by someone or even himself, or perhaps he is calling out to hold his father’s hand.
The music is minimal, especially compared to the heart behind it. These are songs that are almost too sad to sing, but Transmontane delivers them almost out of duty to his soul. — buzzsaw
